Location: Cuyahoga Valley Railroad in northeastern Ohio
Comments: Our family has ridden this railroad several times. It has a locomotive at each end of the passenger train since there is no area to turn the train around. We took this train again one evening in December when it becomes known as the Polar Express. The train is decorated for Christmas and a CVRR employee reads the book, The Polar Express. Towards the end of the ride, hot chocolate and cookies are served and Santa arrives to give each child a sleigh bell.

Unit.  These locomotives were built in 1959 by the Montreal Locomotive Works for the Canadian National Railroad. Only 36 FPA-4 locomotives were built between 1-/58 and 5/59, all of these were built for the Canadian National Railroad. These Locomotives are streamlined cab units and used mainly between Montreal and Toronto for high speed passenger service. It was capable of speeds in excess of 90 MPH. The CVSR acquired the #15 in 1993 and the #14 in 1994.
